Position Title: AUN-QA Assessment Officer

Duty Station: Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building, Chulalongkorn University,

Bangkok, Thailand

Desired Start Date: Late November 2019

We are looking for the best candidate; (Bachelor graduate -Thai Nationality Only) to take up a full-time job as an AUN-QA Assessment Officer

The Office of the AUN Secretariat is located at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. The AUN is the network of 30 leading universities from all ASEAN Member States, serving the aspiration to ASEAN integration.

The Secretariat’s main mission is to initiate and organize the collaborative activities in many aspects for the advancements of higher education and human resource development in the ASEAN region. The AUN -QA aims to harmonise educational standards & seek continuous improvement of academic quality in Higher Education Institutions in ASEAN. See: www.aunsec.org and www.aun-qa.org

Roles and Responsibilities

The AUN-QA Assessment Administrative Staff will carry out the following duties:

• Organise and manage the administrative processes related to the AUN-QA Programme Assessment
• Provide support to the AUN-QA Assessor Team & Univeristy’s Quality Unit Team
• Provide accurate guidance and advice to the university concerning the AUN -QA Programme Assessment and feedback processes
• Required to travel with the AUN-QA Assessor Team within the ASEAN Region
• Required to have a good working knowledge of AUN -QA
• Required to provide support to colleagues in the same position, covering for sickness and absence as appropriate
• Responsible for any other duties commensurate with the position and nature of the role

Your daily tasks will be filled with e-mails and letters. You will be required to solve many unexpected problems, both via e-mail and on-site. You, (alone), will get a chance to organise activities abroad, managing events and writing financial reports. You will also get to work with the AUN-QA Team members to ensure the success of the AUN-QA Programme Assessment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences (any field) is preferred.
• Language Skills in English are ESSENTIAL. Applicants must have excellent English Skills in all Reading, Writing and Speaking

The successful candidate will be rewarded with the starting salary at 20,000 THB (excluding travel allowance)
