Position Title: Program Officer
Open Period: 21 Oct 2019-30 Nov 2019
Position Description: The Program Officer contributes to baseline surveys and need assessments, development of project concepts and writing of project proposals, and development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans. He/ She also prepares accurate, clear, and timely project/ program reports; assists in the documentation of project experiences, successes, and lessons; and undertakes applied research.
Duty Station: RIMES Program Unit, 2nd Floor Outreach Building, 58 Moo 9 Paholyothin Rd., Klong Nung, Klong Luang, Pathumthani, Thailand
Type of Contract: Full-time staff
Remuneration and Benefits:
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge: Bachelor, preferably Master, degree in international development, geography, communication arts, or other related field; knowledge on application of climate information in planning and decision-making is desired, but not required
Experience: At least 4 years of experience in formulating and monitoring development projects, and evaluating and communicating project outcomes
Skills and Abilities: English proficiency in communication, presentation, and report writing; demonstrated research skills; demonstrable ability to package information for different audiences
Personal Qualities: Excellent inter-personal skills; flexibility and ability to work hard independently and in a team; self-motivated, with ability to prioritize work, multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
