Organization: BGET Foundation and SunSawang is a social-purpose organization that provides solar energy products and services for rural areas in Thailand and Myanmar, ranging from lanterns, home systems, to larger systems for medical clinics, schools and training centers.

Position: Business Development & Project Manager (full-time)

Location: Mae Sot, Tak province

Start date: September 2020

Salary: 25,000 – 30,000 Baht/month depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Create project plans and allocate work to other team members
• Lead the team and host meetings with local stakeholders (communities, governments, schools, etc.)
• Create questionnaires and conduct clients’ survey to improve the organization’s performance
• Report activities including funding, revenue/expense, survey results, etc.
• Collect and update the data on solar home system and lantern fee collection
• Manage and recruit the team of village sales representatives and technicians

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management or any related field
• At least 2-year work experience
• Thai language required (know Karen is a plus)
• Have good communication and leadership skills and networking ability at local-community level
• Have a desire to learn and apply business skills (training will be provided)
• Have strong intention to work in the organization with social purposes
• Enjoy traveling and able to work in the remote areas without grid electricity
• Have basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email
• Have a driving license for car/truck and/or motorcycle
