Consultant/Contract Service for Producing Video Clips: DEEC Project's Outstanding Case Stories and Communities' Products
Digital Entreprenueship for Ethnic Communities in Thailand (DEEC)
This project aims to empower ethnic minority people, especially young women, through income-generating activities, using digital skills. In partnership of Plan International Thailand, dtac, the Division of Social Welfare Development of Thailand, and the Digital Innovation and Transformation Center, the project will provide necessary training from basic entrepreneurship to online marketing, for the selected 24 community-based enterprises (CBEs) from Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Mae Hong Son, Nan, Phayao, and Uthai Thani provinces. These communities are categorized into Tier 1 and Tier 2 which are distinguished by their level of readiness to perform online marketing activities. Direct and indirect beneficiaries include seven ethnic roots, namely Hmong, Karen, Lahu, Mein, Mlabri, Shan, and Dara-Ang. Young and older generations will learn and work together and share their expertise, experience, knowledge, and skills as well as adapt the gender transformative approach that is not only to improve women’s access to key resources but also to help communities understand and challenge the social norms that perpetuate inequalities between men and women. Under the project’s coaching and mentorship, it is expected that these 24 communities will be able to develop business plans and products, and use the provided digital skills to increase the sale of their locally produced products in the online market.
II. Objective of the TOR
The objective of this project is to create a visually appealing and engaging media video clips that effectively communicates outstanding case stories from DEEC project’s implementation and promotes the communities’ products. The video clips should convey the project’s key massages and values to ensure impactful public relations. Under the purpose of delightful communicating with beneficiaries, potentil patners, stakeholders, and general public. The process will be all in line with PIT promting and branding guildlines.
III. Tasks
The consultant(s) will be responsible for producing video clips showcasing the outstanding case stories and communities' products of the DEEC project. The production period will be from January to February 2024 in the targeted areas mentioned above. There are two types of production with expected outputs, as detailed in the table below:"
