Consultant – Sustainable / Responsible Tourism

Solidaridad is an international CSO with a 50+ year history of supporting sustainability and livelihoods across a variety of supply chains. Historically, our work has focused on agricultural and select industrial supply chains, working with high profile corporate partners and institutional donors. In recent years, we have expanded focus to incorporate sustainable and responsible tourism initiatives, particularly where we see overlaps with core strategic themes (e.g. responsible sourcing or waste management).

Solidaridad’s Thailand Office is our most recent addition in the region. We are currently seeking the support of an experienced individual to support project development in the tourism sector on a consultancy basis, with view to a potential long-term engagement.

The selected individual should have demonstrable experience working on themes relating to sustainable and/or responsible tourism within Thailand as well as an established network. Preference will be given to those with a record in project/proposal development, including knowledge of intervention financing in the sector.

The consultant will work with Solidaridad’s Thailand and Asia regional teams to identify opportunities, engage partners, determine financing, and develop proposals.
