Community Partners International (CPI) is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Asia to meet their essential health, humanitarian and development needs. Founded by U.S. doctors in 1998, the organization has grown to serve more than one million people each year. Community Partners International focuses on helping communities affected by conflict, violence, and displacement, in remote and hard-to-reach contexts, and marginalized by poverty and exclusion.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in M&E planning and methodology of programs (Health, Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Response projects).
  • Participating in and providing support to project design activities including development of project theories of change and strategic frameworks (Results Frameworks, Log Frames).
  • Develop programme consistency and integration through maintenance of quality monitoring and evaluation and programme support procedures and processes.
  • Perform data collection, data entry, and analysis procedures to measure progress and
  • achievements according to the M&E plan in terms of using current database tools
  • Provide tracking and updating M&E data as well as ensuring the data is of the best quality possible of all partners programs.
  • Work with data platforms, databases and select technologies to capture and organize data.
  • Take responsibility of documentation, data storage, and data management with confidentiality of the data
  • Perform other additional duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager.

 

Regular Responsibilities

    • Work together with Senior Program Manager for the implementation of Regional Program
    • Develop and regular update of the M&E plan and forms/format which are in line with program needs, new activities, and context, for the effective program management.
    • Coordinate with respective implementing partners to strengthen their capacity of data collection and reporting
    • Conduct regular site visits and or M&E meetings with partner organization to monitor the project management and achievement of each partner
    • Coordinate with CPI M&E team for the development of database/ data studio/ data analysis       
    • Collect and combine the narrative and data report of the partner organizations, review/clearance of the data, and provide feedback to partners focusing on data quality and M&E performance after discussion and agreement with Sr Program Manager.
    • Develop and maintain training curricula and handbooks, then conduct tailored pieces of training on indicators, designing quality data collection tools, standardizing information systems, creating parameter queries, and other related topics.
    • Ensure accurate and timely information is available to senior management and team members
    • Prepare required program data for the Senior Program Manager for Management level presentation

 

Partner Support

  • Access M&E capacity of partner organizations and coordinate with Program Team to improve organization development of the partners organizations by providing capacity building and technical assistance.
  • Work together with Senior Program Manager in Call for Proposal announcement, proposal review process, selection process and communication with partners for agreement process, due-diligent assessment and project implementation.
  • Regular monitoring visit and or meeting with partners to ensure the relevant of CPI’s support, to monitor implementation of the project based on the established goals and objectives.
  • Assists the implementing partners in utilizing electronic databases and manipulating database objects for accurate data collection, analysis, report and dissemination among stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc technical assistance requested by program team or partner organizations.

 

Capacity Building and Supporting other Staff

  • Collaborate with technical team in order to develop training packages and manuals to strengthen the partner organization capacity.
  • Assist Senior Program Manager for capacity building and technical sharing of CPI staff, partners’ staff and government staff.

 

Operations and Administration

  • Meet with prospective donors or partners as needed, facilitate the development of donor relationships, and help to ensure donor requests are handled promptly and effectively.
  • Organize workshop and meetings with local authority and health departments as required
  • Responsible for program related budget, costed work plan and cash transfer process
  • Create and maintain a team spirit of mutual collaboration and respect with due regard to gender and cultural sensitivities
  • Work closely with different departments of CPI such as finance, admin, HR, logistic teams, and program staff to deliver the desired outputs and outcomes effectively and efficiently

 

Organization Representation

  • Represent CPI in partner, donor and other stakeholder meetings.
  • Establish, strengthen and sustain the good relationships/ coordination with concerning stakeholders, donor agencies, implementing partners, local authorities and other relevant organizations.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Health or development field with minimum of three years’ experience in public health, social development and emergency response program in an international organization. MPH or relevant master degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in both implementing monitoring and evaluation systems as well as designing and maintaining the database
  • Good presentation skills, writing and analytical skills; with fluency on both written and spoken English.
  • Excellent software skills in Excel, Data Studio, etc (statistical software preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in mentorship, coaching, training, planning and capacity building
  • Good communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to establish priorities in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail and quality
  • Comfortable working with a variety of partners and navigating complex relationships
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds.
