EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (CHILD DEVELOPMENT)
COERR FOUNDATION is a Thai NGO established for the purpose of bringing aid to displaced persons in Thailand and those affected by natural disasters.
COERR is looking for experienced personnel to fill the post of Education Development Officer (Child Development) for Bangkok field office.
TERMS OF REFERENCE
- Provide assessment and counseling to students with behavioral problems and refer to Education Services Unit for further intervention.
- Identify, design and conduct learning activities in line with education development policy and direction. Provide appropriate learning tools to the project beneficiaries and during staff development training sessions.
- Design tools for assessment and evaluation of leaning activities.
- Follow up and report to Education Services Supervisor about the counseling activities, student behavioral development intervention, outcome of learning activities consecutively
- Develop and improve procedure and approach of counseling, student behavioral development intervention and learning activities to enhance its efficiency and efficacy.
- Update and maintain student database, prepare monthly statistics reports to Education Services Supervisor.
- Provide administrative support to Education Services Supervisor and the education team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Thai nationality
- Bachelor degree in education, social work, psychology or other related fields.
- At least 1- 2 years of work experience. Experience in providing counseling to children with behavioral problem would be an advantage.
- Good counselling skills and has the ability to cope with stressful situations and clients
- Ability to work under pressure and strong teamwork
- Good command of English and Thai.
- High responsibility, proactive and initiative ideas, positive attitude and flexibility
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, MS office family and internet)
