Main Purpose
|
|
Organizing and ensuring medical consultations to the target population providing treatment to patients within the scope of his/her medical competencies and referring them when appropriate, according to DWBT protocols, procedures and the universal hygiene standards in order to guarantee quality and efficiency of the service provided.

|
Accountabilities
|
- Ensuring the implementation and standardization of DWBT clinical policies, tools, and hygiene protocols in order to minimize clinical risks and to guarantee the quality of patient care management. Promoting and maintaining confidentiality regarding all patient cases and records
- Implementing diagnosis, prescription and prevention procedures that fall under the scope of his/her competencies applying medical knowledge, asking appropriate questions to patients and following protocols in force as well as using laboratory services, when necessary, in order to ensure a correct implementation of the medical treatments and to refer patients when appropriate.
- Participating in the planning and supervision, in close coordination with other supervisors, the HR processes (sizing, staff shifts, recruitment, training, evaluation, development and communication) of the team in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required, improve people triage capabilities, their motivation and commitment and their active participation in teaching the targeted population on therapeutic and preventive protocols.
- Ensuring that all staff using medical devices are qualified and trained. Ensuring cleaning and minor maintenance tasks are performed according to the protocols. Reporting any malfunction to the project biomedical service. List item
- In cases of emergency, carrying out first aid care and treatment according to protocols in order to reduce mortality rates
- Recording in the individual patient’s card and registration books, all performed medical activities (drugs prescribed, lab results, vaccination status, epidemiological activity, doses, etc.) keeping data traceability in order to ensure patients treatment continuity.
- Participating in data collection and reporting when required
- Knowing and implementing Patient Therapeutic Education (PTE), i.e. keeping contact with all patients, providing them information regarding their health state and responding to their questions.
- Knowing and promoting the proper application of Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit and Sexually Gender Based Violence (SGBV) protocol.

DWBT Section/ Context Specific Accountabilities
|
|
Patients Referral
-
- Referral follow up by visiting the patients at both Mae Sariang and Mae Hong Son hospitals and collaborate with referrer staff and partners.
- Collaborate with Nursing Activity Manager (NAM) if any extra support is required about the patients referred.
- Coordinate with Chiang Mai hospitals about the patient to be referred to, create the confirmation letter and submit to hospitals.
- Follow up the referred patient by phone calls with the hospitals.
- Meeting with Doctors / nurses or hospital staff for case discussion and management plan.
- Collect all the patient’s condition related information and share/translate to/for the Medical Activity Manager (MAM) and Project Medical Referent (PMR) for the decision making.
- Submit patient visit report to MAM and PMR on weekly basis.
Staff health

- To be the staff health focal person delegated by PMR, for the locally hired staff who can’t speak English and who would like to translate their medical documents or to discuss with PMR on the same.
- Collect and keep medical certificate and document from all staff from the hospital after they are review by PMR for reimbursement. To translate them for PMR before validation.
EPI program
-
- Support the NAM to prepare all the EPI related documents (immunization card, due list, master list, etc.)
- Facilitate and/or co-organize the trainings on but not limited to the following topics: safe injections, managing and conducting an immunization session. And support the NAM on training activity preparation (IR, printing, coordinating…)
- Supervise and collect vaccination data to transfer into the tally sheet and submit to Data Supervisor.
Other tasks.

- Facilitator in the training on the nursing related topics in collaboration with MAM and NAM.
- Support the Pharma Supervisor in the cold chain management and in the reception of the items with the pharmacist.
- Assist the PMR in preparation of the weekly and monthly report.
- Be flexible and be ready to assist in any different activities/tasks that are not included in this primary job description.

Essential Paramedical degree: Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy

Experience

Desirable previous clinical supervision experience of at least one year

- Salary: 42,193 THB gross/month (non-negotiable), and 13th Month Salary
- 1 year contract renewable, with 3-month probation
