Location: Chaing Mai, Thailand | Travel: 40% of working Time | Status: Independent Contractor

Are you a MEL professional passionate about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a MEL Coordinator (Independent Contractor) who will be based in Chaing Mai and is responsible for supporting health and humanitarian projects by ensuring accurate data collection and verification. The role involves providing technical assistance, training, and capacity-building to partner organizations for effective monitoring and evaluation and also collaborate with stakeholders, conduct field visits, and contribute to assessments, reporting, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This position will report to MEL Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Research, Public Health, or Epidemiology is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in executing and implementing monitoring, evaluation, health information systems, and related activities.
• Preferred experience in public health and humanitarian programs.
• A solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodology is an asset.
• Proficiency in statistics, MS Office applications, statistical software, online data collection tools, and SQL databases.
• Experience in coordinating with local CSOs and communities to design and implement surveys and other data collection techniques.
• Fluency in both Myanmar and English.
• Ability to quickly understand the local cultural and political context, motivate others, and work successfully within these contexts.
