Operations Manager – Scientia Program
Location: Bangkok, Thailand (with occasional domestic travel)
Program: Destiny Rescue – Scientia Program

Salary: 35,000 THB per month
Position Summary
Destiny Rescue’s Scientia Program is a cutting-edge initiative driving systemic change in the fight against Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) across Thailand. As part of this effort, Project Vista was launched as an investigative and analytical hub to enable large-scale victim identification, case coordination, and inter-agency collaboration.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of Scientia, including Project Vista, and to support and streamline our casework operations. This role is central to ensuring that strategic objectives are achieved efficiently, teams are well-supported, and impact is maximised.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership&Oversight
- Oversee the daily operations of the Scientia program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage the implementation of Project Vista, including resource allocation, timelines, risk mitigation, and performance tracking.
- Supervise interdepartmental coordination across investigation, victim support, training, and analysis.
Case Work Support
- Support the coordination of active and historical case files involving OSEC victim identification and tracking.
- Work closely with the Case Work Manager to ensure collaborative meetings are efficient, documented, and drive case progress.
- Ensure evidence-handling, victim privacy, and survivor care protocols align with national and international best practices.
Monitoring&Evaluation (M&E)
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks to measure program impact across multiple pillars (Rescue, Protect, Empower, Collaborate).
- Analyse and report on key metrics including victim rescues, trainings delivered, and systemic impact (e.g., prosecutions, policy changes).
- Prepare internal and external reports, including government briefings, donor updates, and strategic planning documents.
Human Resources&Team Management
- Oversee staff schedules, onboarding, and professional development.
- Foster a trauma-informed and collaborative team culture that prioritises both wellbeing and high performance.
- Support recruitment, volunteer coordination, and intern supervision in partnership with partner universities.
Compliance, Admin&Documentation
- Ensure that all operations comply with Thai legal frameworks, Destiny Rescue policies, and child protection standards.
- Maintain organised systems for document control, case management data, and meeting records.
- Support the preparation of strategic reports, official communications, and presentation materials as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program operations, team management, or nonprofit project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams, especially in sensitive or high-impact sectors.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong communication (English essential).
- High level of cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed awareness.
Desirable
- Experience in child protection, law enforcement, or counter-trafficking.
- Familiarity with investigative workflows, case management tools, and stakeholder engagement.
- Previous experience working with inter-agency collaboration in Southeast Asia.
- Knowledge of international child protection standards (e.g., Luxembourg Guidelines, Child Protection Act B.E. 2546).
