Introduction:
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has started the three-year project for Human Resource Development on Social Work in the ASEAN Region following an agreement on technical cooperation with the Government of Thailand. The project focuses on providing high-quality social work training to strengthen the capacity of social workers in the region. The project period runs from August 2025 to July 2028. The project is seeking a Project Assistant to work under the supervision of a JICA expert.
Qualification:
Graduates from Social Work or relevant fields such as Social Science, Humanities, Development Studies, etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (equivalent to TOEIC 800, TOEFL 50 and IELTS 5.5 or above); basic computer skills in both English and Thai; experience of working in a multicultural environment desirable.
Station of Work:
The Project Assistant will be stationed at the Project office within the ASEAN Training Centre for Social Work and Social Welfare (ATCSW), Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Krung Kasem Road in Bangkok.

Monthly Salary:
Minimum 30,400 THB (Language Certificate, Master Degree Certificate etc. are to be considered as additional allowance)
Commuting Allowance, Overtime Allowance and Travel Allowance for official trip are paid.
Health Insurance is covered as Thai Government Staff.
The first contract period runs from October 2025 to March 2026 (six months). Depending on mutual agreement, the contract can be extended on an annual basis, but the total length of the contract will not exceed July 2027.
