Organization Overview

The Max Foundation is a global health non-profit organization that believes that all people living with cancer have the right to access the best treatment and support. Through personalized access services, quality training and education, we aim to help people face cancer with dignity and hope.

Our services are global and multifaceted. We provide education and training at all levels of the communities in which we work. By partnering with industry, non-governmental agencies, health care providers, and national cancer patient organizations, we are able to support people and provide effective solutions for access to treatment. Through our global efforts, we work to raise awareness of the disease and draw attention to the needs of people living with cancer. Every year, our dedicated team helps people in more than 100 countries.

 

Job Description

 

The Max Foundation, a US-based global health non-profit organization, with the mission to increase global access to treatment, care, and support for people living with cancer, seeks Bangkok-based representative to:

  • Implement and coordinate patient support programs, including treatment access programs.
  • Facilitate disease education, emotional support, treatment options and referrals to needy patients and families.
  • Establish and maintain professional partnership with healthcare professionals, industry stakeholders, as well as community members in programs implementation.

 

Job Requirement

 

  • Written and verbal fluency in both English and Thai is required.
  • Computer and internet literacy (MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Organized and detail-oriented in paperwork.
  • Dedicated for communicating with patient and healthcare community.
  • Willing to learn new skills and knowledge in cancer patient support area.
  • Work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Experience in public healthcare, social work, communication, project management, or relevant field will be held in high regard, but applicants from a wide variety of background will also be considered.
