Executive Interviewers

Rapid Asia is an independent social research consultancy based in Bangkok. We carry out program evaluations across a number of thematic areas including human trafficking, wildlife conservation, migration, health, climate change, education etc. Our clients include donors, UN agencies and international aid and development organizations. We take a regional approach to evaluations and have developed tools and indicators that can be used across borders for the purpose of evaluating program impact. Rapid Asia has carried out evaluations in 25 countries across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and South America.

Due to our continued growth and expanding workload, we are looking for 4-5 Thai nationals who can do high level, executive interviews in Thai. This will be a freelance position to support the project team on an ongoing project. The work will be on a contract basis starting in October 2017 and continue for up to 3 months. All interviews will be carried out in Bangkok and it will be possible to organize the work from home but occasional meetings with the Project Manager and regular progress reporting will be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Thai national
• Participate in a 2-day training
• Recruit high level respondents from a set target list
• Conduct face to face interviews using a computer tablet
• Deliver regular progress reports
• Ability to work independently and with some level flexibility

Requirements:

• Outgoing with a pleasant personality
• Positive and goal oriented
• Strong work ethics and attention to detail
• Good command of English
• Basic understanding of economics is an advantage
• Based in Bangkok is considered essential
