Information & Communication Coordinator (Urgently Required)
TBC works with conflict affected communities in SE Burma/Myanmar and 9 refugee camps in Thailand building preparedness for return and reintegration of displaced people. Through local partners and community led processes, TBC supports access to Food, shelter, capacity building for Community management, and rehabilitation of conflicted affected communities. Now we are urgently seeking Information & Communication Coordinator to join the team.
Job Purpose:
The prime responsibility is to act as the focal point for the collation, analysis and presentation of data and information related to ongoing programme progress and achievements. This position is also responsible for creating a wider range of organisational communication-related materials meeting the needs of different target audiences as part of the broader need to promote and highlight TBC’s work.

Job Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Coordination
- In conjunction with Programme Specialists and Managers, contribute to the development of TBC programme level M&E plans for the Logical Framework, M&E systems and tools to ensure that the methodologies used and the information gathered are suitable to programme and donor needs.
- Coordinate with TBC programme teams on the collation, production and distribution of key programme data.
- Support TBC’s external reporting with solid programme data that meets internal and donor requirements.
- Support management, programme and field teams in the development and dissemination of all TBC’s print materials; ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
Communication
- Liaise with printing agencies for producing and publishing reports, brochures articles, newsletter or presentations.
- Manage the compilation of TBC’s key external publications – annual reports, programme reports, etc.
- Manage the TBC website so that it meets the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
- Develop and manage social media sites for TBC; including Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Work with IT staff to ensure proper storage of key TBC documents for use by TBC staff.
- Coordinate the collection and dissemination of reports throughout the organisation.
- Ensure that records of meeting minutes are maintained and shared appropriately.
Others
- Attend technical training, training of trainers, and system development workshops.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis and reporting on behalf of Field Coordinators, Field Data Officer, management and refugee stakeholders.
- Support language translation tasks according to skill.
- Provide photo shooting onsite during meetings, workshops etc. as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in data analysis and communication work
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and development of communication materials
- Experience of producing and publishing reports, articles, newsletter or presentations
- Knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative data management techniques
- Computer software skills with proficiency in data management systems
- Knowledge and experience of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and other design software
- Ability to use video and cameras
- Work proactively with ability to develop and implement ideas
- Effectively plan and prioritise own workload
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Knowledge of Karen and/or Burmese a plus
